SMART Team Wins Identity Deployment of the Year Award
The SMART team, part of the Centre for Cyber Crime led by SiDE CoI Prof Aad van Moorsel, has won the prestigious IDDY award. SMART team members, Maciej Machulak, Lukasz Moren and Maciej Wolniak, won the Identity Deployment of the Year (IDDY) award, in the Emerging Applications/Proof of Concept Category. The IDDY is awarded yearly by the Kantara Initiative, for deployment and development of identity management software. Previous winners include Google, US DoD, Vodafone, NTT and Oracle. This year’s winners were US National Institute for Health and Newcastle University. The Newcastle award was presented to Maciej Machulak during the Identity Collaboration Day in San Francisco. Through van Moorsel, SiDE is forming a close relationship with the Centre for Cyber Crime, whose innovative technology is informing the ongoing work in SiDE around provenance and security of data.
