BBC visit Dundee to discuss collaborative work on SiDE

Dr Mike Evans from the BBC visited University of Dundee’s School of Computing to discuss collaborative work on interactive digital TV. He met with Kyle Montague to consider the new aspects of his PhD research work on mobile devices as an alternative interface to digital TV guides.

1st SiDE internal workshop

The 1st SiDE internal workshop allowed all researchers to get together and swap ideas around a series of interactive sessions aimed at collaborative problem solving.
Ongoing work within all the activities and perspectives was presented and explored from a multidisciplinary perspective and a follow up workshop with a focus on “Users” was planned to be held in Dundee on 10-11 Jan 2011.
1st DE DTC Summer school

SiDE PhDs attended the the 1st DE Doctoral Training Centre Summer School hosted by the Horizon DE Hub at Nottingham University. The two day event was focused on the Lifelong Contextual Footprint.
